Boss Ma'am
Boss Ma’am is a love letter from me to all women veterans, executives, military spouses, and first responders who have ever emotionally suffered and felt stuck. For those who have done the work—therapy, shadow work, daily journaling (and medication)—and still feel like you're not moving forward. I understand what it’s like to spiral, to claw your way out of the darkness, and yet still feel like something is holding you back.
I especially extend my love to those who joined just before or after 9/11—those who carry the weight of war and its injuries. If you deployed, if you’ve buried friends, if you’ve buried pieces of yourself just to keep going—this is for you.
The visible injuries... and the ones no one can see. The ones who don’t need saving but could use a lifeline.
